Are you a foreigner living in Warsaw? Would you like to enhance your professional qualifications and find employment? Apply to the programme from 28.05.2023 and gain new skills and professional experience!
Ingka Centres, administrator of Wola Park, is engaged in supporting local communities around shopping centres through a real impact on the life of persons who found themselves in a difficult living situation. In order to realize this mission, in cooperation with our tenants and NGOs, we have launched a project called The Wola Park Academy which offers possibilities of employment and education. The project is targeted at improving the competencies necessary to find one’s path on the Polish labour market. The Academy operates in three shopping centres that we own (apart from Wola Park also in Aleja Bielany in Wrocław and in Port Łódź in Łódź).
How to apply?
upload the application form, fill it out and leave it in the sharing area (Współdzielnik) box (premises on the first floor of Wola Park, open from Wednesday to Saturday between 12:00 and 20:00)
visit the sharing area during an open day and fill out the form provided by the coordinator (23.05.2023, 9:00-15:00)

Project goal
The goal of the Project “Wola Park Academy” is to prepare foreigners who legally live in Poland for a productive employment on the Polish labour market (especially within the area of CH Wola Park) thanks to realizing comprehensive activization tasks selected to match the specific issues experienced by this particular target group as well as the needs of the labour market.
Who is the project recipient?
The project is dedicated to persons who fulfil the following conditions:
a) they are foreigners legally living in Poland,
b) they are familiar with the bases of the Polish language,
c) they reside in the area of Warsaw and its vicinity,
d) they completed the age of 18 on the date of application form submission.
Scope of assistance
SUPPORT IN CONTACTS WITH EMPLOYERS, PROFESSIONAL INTERNSHIPS
Assistance to participants in the selection of the right work for them, matching participants’ expectations with specific employers’ needs. Obtaining offers that meet the expectations and possibilities of beneficiaries will increase their chances for getting employment in the near future. For the selected participants we have prepared PAID professional internships with the tenants of CH Wola Park for the period of 3 months.
PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING, PROFILING OF FOREIGNERS’ NEEDS AND POTENTIALS
Creating an Individual Action Plan for each participant in which the needs and possibilities of a given participant will be confronted with the needs of the labour market and where the plan of actions targeted at improving the participant’s situation on the labour market will be specified.
COURSE OF POLISH LANGUAGE
Developing language competencies is a key to success in the course of the process of education and activity on the labour market. Programme participants will attend a Polish language course conducted by an experienced teacher of Polish as a foreign language in order to enable communication to become a tool and not an obstacle in realizing the goals of the course participants.
ORGANIZING, ASSISTING IN THE SERACH AND FINANCING COURSES, PROFESSIONAL TRAININGS, OTHER FORMS OF EDUCATION
Trainings, courses or other forms of education that prepare a person to commence employment (i.e. Vocational, from the scope of social competencies) through equipping them in qualifications and/or competencies necessary on the Polish labour market.
Realization
FOUNDATION “PEOPLE ARE WHAT MATTERS THE MOST” is a non-profit organization which supports others in growth through education. Activities of this organization focus on building human relationships and links, developing passions and skills as well as gaining knowledge. The foundation believes that education is the key to success and fulfilment of one's dreams and each person, regardless of their material situation, has the same right to receive such a chance in life.
